Turnbull’s late grandparents were the Singapore-born artist Kim Lim and William Turnbull, a Scottish sculptor and painter whose work has been featured in institutions such as the Serpentine Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and the Tate Gallery. She started modeling first, then developed her DJ career during the pandemic.

Born and raised in London, Turnbull has established herself as a creative, model, and DJ. According to People, she began her modeling career around 2017 and has worked on campaigns for labels such as Tommy Hilfiger, Rimmel London, and Ellesse. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, she dove more seriously into DJing, practicing at home, taking gigs, and building her musical identity.

Her DJ sets often blend genres, including Afrobeats, amapiano, electronic, and house influences. She’s performed internationally, spinning records in places like Lagos and Paris, and has played sets at major venues, like London’s Ministry of Sound. She’s also DJed at fashion events hosted by brands such as Marc Jacobs.

“I hope that my work can inspire other people and show other kids they can do it,” Turnbull told Culted in 2023. “I had super bad imposter syndrome when I first started out as I’d grown up around so many sick DJs so putting myself out there was daunting at first. But you just have to go for it!”

Turnbull and Beckham dated for about seven months after confirming their romance in 2024.
