Social media influencer and reality TV star Rolling Ray has died, the network he worked with announced on Instagram Thursday.
Rolling Ray, whose legal name is Raymond Harper, died Wednesday, just days before his birthday.
Harper would have turned 29 years old on Friday.
The self-described “most famous boy inna wheelchair,” garnered over 448,000 followers on Instagram after gaining popularity when clips of his appearances on “Divorce Court” and “Catfish: Trolls” went viral.
He is also credited for coining the slang term “purr.”
Harper is commonly recognized from the highly popular TikTok sound clipped from a Divorce Court episode where Harper says, “she not a girl, it’s Miss Toler,” after which the judge corrects him, saying “it’s Judge Toler, be quiet, I have a question.”
Details of Harper’s death were not immediately available.
Harper previously shared details of health struggles he faced on his social media, including when he was hospitalized in late August 2024 for pneumonia and a blood infection.
His death was reported to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Wednesday, NBC News reported.
Divorce Court posted a tribute to the star on Instagram.
“RIP, he was so hilarious and made me laugh so much,” one commenter said on the post.
Zeus Network, the streaming platform on which Harper appeared in numerous shows, posted a tribute on Instagram Thursday.
“Gone way too soon. #RestInPeace to the BIG hearted, most Raw, & Real FRIEND & #Zeus Star #RaymondHarper aka @iamrollingray. Your Laughter, Light, & Loving Spirit will Live on FOREVER!” the network said in a post to Instagram.
