Kate Gosselin confirmed she has a boyfriend — but didn’t share details about his identity.
“I am dating somebody for the past year to a little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months,” Kate revealed in a TikTok posted on Wednesday, September 24. “I am super, super happy. It’s somebody that I’ve known for a really long time, and I am very, very happy.”
However, it’s been widely reported that the man in question is connected to her past.
After the TikTok went viral on Wednesday, Page Six reported that Kate’s new man is Steve Neild, her ex-bodyguard. Rumors about the two have swirled several times over the years. (Us Weekly has reached out to Kate’s team for comment.)
Kate was married to ex-husband Jon Gosselin from 1999 to 2009. They share twin daughters Cara and Mady, 24, plus sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Joel, Aaden, Alexis and Leah, 21. The former couple and their family rose to fame on the TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8.
During her marriage to Jon, Kate was photographed on several occasions with Neild — putting them at the center of affair rumors, which she has denied over the years.

After news of the reported romance broke, Kate’s ex-husband, Jon, took to social media and addressed the situation.
“Guess who really ruined the marriage,” he captioned a photo of Kate and Neild, sharing the Page Six report. “Read for yourself.”
There Was a Reported Affair
One of Kate’s kids, Collin, doubled down on the past affair rumors via social media on Wednesday.
“What really upsets me is that my mom [Kate Gosselin] had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!” he alleged. “Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.
He added, “By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for ‘having an affair’ and ‘leaving his kids’.”
Collin, who has a strained relationship with his mother, begged her to “come forward and be truthful” in his post.
His Current Career
It seems Neild has left his work as a bodyguard in the past. He is now the owner of a risk management company, according to his LinkedIn profile.
