ABC’s Dancing With the Stars continued its 34th season on Tuesday, with seven remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners vying for the crown on Week 9 of the dance competition series.
The episode was dubbed 20th Birthday Party Night in honor of the show’s 20th anniversary. Tom Bergeron, who hosted Dancing With the Stars for 15 years before he was let go in 2020, returned as a guest judge. (Bergeron’s exit came after he criticized the casting of former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.)
After an opening number featuring six pro dancers from Season 1, this year’s contestants impressed the judges with new routines, as four of the seven couples earned perfect 40 out of 40 scores.

Six of the seven remaining celebrities also participated in a relay dance round with past DWTS champions, including Apolo Ohno (who was paired with Chiles), Rashad Jennings (Hendrix), Rumer Willis (Efron), Kaitlyn Bristowe (Richter), Xochitl Gomez (Irwin) and Joey Graziadei (Earle).
Chiles, Efron and Irwin each earned two bonus points during the relay round.
Who got eliminated last night?
In the end, Richter and Slater were eliminated from the competition.
“I’ve said it a bunch, it’s changed my life. I’m a different person because of this show and this woman,” Richter said after his elimination. “It’s been wonderful, and I certainly feel like a winner.”
Eight celebrity contestants have been sent home so far this season. Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying, reality star Hilaria Baldwin, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, former NBA All-Star Baron Davis, and actor and musician Corey Feldman were eliminated on previous episodes.
The six celebrity cast members still in the running are Efron, Chiles, Earle, Hendrix, Leavitt and Irwin.

Dylan Efron

Efron, younger brother of actor Zac Efron, is a social media influencer, outdoors enthusiast and reality TV personality. His professional dance partner is Daniella Karagach.
Hilaria Baldwin — ELIMINATED

Baldwin is an entrepreneur, author and host of The Baldwins, a reality show starring her and her husband, Alec Baldwin, and their seven children. Baldwin and her pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, were eliminated after performing a Star Wars-inspired quickstep on what was dubbed Disney Night.
Corey Feldman — ELIMINATED

Feldman is an actor and musician, probably best known as one of the stars of The Goonies. He was paired with professional dancer Jenna Johnson. Feldman and Johnson were sent home on the second episode following their cha-cha to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”
Danielle Fishel — ELIMINATED

Fishel is best known for her role in the popular ’90s ABC television series Boy Meets World. Her dance partner was Pasha Pashkov.
Lauren Jauregui — ELIMINATED

Jauregui is a Cuban American singer-songwriter who began her career as one-fifth of Fifth Harmony. Her professional dance partner was Brandon Armstrong. They were eliminated on what was dubbed TikTok Night, and Jauregui gave a blunt response when asked how she was feeling after learning she was being sent home. “Pissed,” she said.
Jordan Chiles

Chiles is a two-time Olympian gymnast and gold medal winner. She is paired with professional dancer Ezra Sosa.
Scott Hoying — ELIMINATED

Hoying is a singer and founder of the Grammy-winning a cappella group Pentatonix. He was partnered with pro dancer Rylee Arnold. The pair was eliminated on Wicked Night.
Elaine Hendrix

Hendrix is an actress known for her roles in The Parent Trap, Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion and, most recently, Freakier Friday. She is paired with professional dancer Alan Bersten.
Baron Davis — ELIMINATED

Davis is an NBA All-Star turned entrepreneur. He partnered with dance pro Britt Stewart. They were eliminated during the second week of competition after performing a samba to Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack.”

Richter is a writer and comedian best known as Conan O’Brien’s longtime late-night sidekick on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien and Conan. His professional dance partner was Emma Slater.

Affleck is a social media influencer known for her role on Hulu‘s reality TV series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Her professional dance partner was Jan Ravnik, who was a featured backup dancer on Taylor Swift’s recent tour. They were eliminated on Week 7’s Halloween Night.
Whitney Leavitt

Alix Earle
