While The Challenge: Vets & New Threats has been largely about ganging up on one side of the house for the past month, a number of clutch elimination wins have shockingly begun to even the numbers on both sides. On paper, all it would take is one specific win and one specific loss in the daily, and the underdogs would have a fighting chance. It turns out, that’s exactly what happened this week. A freezing-cold daily iced out some teams from the majority, giving the UK-led alliance a chance at a power play.
Check out our spoiler-filled recap below and find out who was eliminated tonight.
Who was eliminated on The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Season 41 tonight?
Ashley Mitchell
Leonardo “Leo” Dionicio
When Ashley Mitchell and Leo Dionicio became a pair, there was some anticipation of them being a combustible duo. After all, he had been making waves with the vets after openly trying to start a rookie revolution. And her latest of the many arguments she’s had on The Challenge involved her and Aneesa Ferreira taking several low blows at each other. But the two worked surprisingly well together, one of the most harmonious teams left. Unfortunately, Ashley and Leo’s downfall came at the hands of the former’s puzzle skills. The former “puzzle queen” proved she had lost her title this past episode, as incorrect math sent them straight into elimination. Once there, while Leo got them out to an early lead, the two-time champ couldn’t keep her numbers straight, taking them out.
Who won the daily challenge in The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Season 41 tonight?
Cedric Hodges
Michaela Bradshaw
This week’s daily challenge was a test of brains and willpower. The pairs had to memorize a code and solve a math equation to get the code to their puzzle pieces, submerged 6 feet into a freezing lake. They then had to return the pieces to land, where they would solve a 3D puzzle. CBS veterans Cedric and Michaela won their second daily as a pair, earning safety. And Ashley and Leo made a crucial mistake with their math, putting them in last place and sending them directly into elimination.

Low blows and tie votes
When it came to the jury, neither the winning pair nor the losing pair could vote. That was music to the ears of Theo Campbell and company, as that meant the vote would be tied 3-3 between alliances. But, to make one last play to avoid a deadlock, he made a public plea to sway Nany González, asking her to flip to avoid sending her friend Turbo Çamkıran into elimination. To say Nany bristled at the idea is an understatement, as she snapped at Theo for trying to use her friendship with Turbo to threaten her. Suffice it to say, the gambit didn’t work, and a 3-3 tie went down. As was shown in a previous week, the tiebreaker came down to a coin flip. And the odds were not in Turbo and Sydney Segal’s favor, sending them into elimination.
