Mumbai: Several Bollywood celebrities and public figures, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar, congratulated the Mumbai Police on completing a decade of its presence on social media, praising the force for its service and digital outreach.

Reacting to a 2017 Mumbai Police campaign inspired by his film Deewar, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted,
“T 5609(i) – Aaj khush toh bahut honge hum!@MumbaiPolice & @CPMumbaiPolice have completed 10 glorious years on social media, forever looking out for Mumbaikars Online!”
He added, “Sadrakshanaya Khalanigrahanaya, which means ‘To Protect the Good and to Restrain the Evil’ in Sanskrit, emphasises their commitment to safeguarding citizens and curbing wrongdoing. #MPsPuntastic10 #10YearsOfDigitalConnection #MumbaiPolice4All,” concluding his message.
Shah Rukh Khan responded to a Mumbai Police post referencing his film Darr, tweeting,

Akshay Kumar revisited a 2018 Mumbai Police campaign inspired by his Hera Pheri franchise, writing,
