The new position on the former Prince at Christmas time comes as he is now expected to live permanently on the Sandringham Estate. This decision was communicated on October 30—when the Palace released a second statement saying that all Andrew’s titles would be taken away and he would be moving out of the Royal Lodge. It was said that he would move to an undisclosed property on the private Sandringham Estate as soon as was practical after surrendering his lease on the Windsor property.
It has been reported that Andrew, 65, will spend this Christmas at the Royal Lodge with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who has also lived there with him. Sarah faced her own downfall over Epstein this year when an email she sent to him was made public, prompting several charities to cut ties with her. She has lost her Duchess title and will be making her own arrangements for accommodation when Andrew goes to Sandringham.
