The new Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot from Hulu is officially dead. Despite gaining early momentum, which even led to the filming of the first episode, helmed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao, who is also a self-proclaimed fan of the Og series, Sarah Michelle Gellar shared that the show was dead, adding (via Ig/sarahmgellar):
