The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White is up for Best Actor in a Comedy Series at this evening’s Emmys. However, he’ll be M.I.A. at the ceremony because his best friend is getting married, Variety reports. White’s on-screen and offscreen girlfriend, Molly Gordon, is expected to make an appearance on the Emmys red carpet.
The Bear has 13 nominations this year, including for Best Comedy Series. Gordon was not singled out for her acting, though.
White and Gordon first sparked romantic rumors in September 2024. The actress hinted that their relationship is going strong when she included White in an Instagram carousel of summer photos posted on September 7.
In June, Vanity Fair asked Gordon about photos of her and White kissing. She avoided speaking directly about their relationship but did address fan commentary about their romance. “With the internet, I just think—I even see it in myself as a fan of things—we’re just a more judgmental society,” she said.
She was more vocal when asked about White’s character on The Bear, Carmy, and her experience playing his love interest. “[Carmy] is a character that people feel so protective over, and it’s been kind of controversial to bring a romantic element into the show,” she said. “That’s been at times annoying, fascinating and interesting—just to be a part of something that people have opinions on.”
