THE RUNDOWN
- Travis Kelce didn’t join Taylor Swift on the red carpet at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony this evening.
- The Kansas City Chiefs tight end just finished the team’s mandatory minicamp earlier today.
- He has a packed schedule for the rest of the week.
Taylor Swift is celebrating one of the greatest honors of her career tonight at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York City. (She wore a gorgeous black floral gown for the occasion.) Meanwhile, her fiancé, Travis Kelce, has been busy with a mandatory minicamp for his team, the Kansas City Chiefs. The minicamp ran from June 9 through today.
Understandably, the NFL player was absent from the ceremony’s red carpet tonight. While the minicamp wrapped up earlier today, it took place in Kansas City, Missouri, and Kelce has a busy rest of the week ahead—with a series of events far from New York.
Kelce’s schedule is packed: On June 14, he’ll make a special appearance at a Cleveland Guardians game before he records a live episode of New Heights the next day on June 15 in Los Angeles. From there, he’ll host his Tight End University from June 22 to 25 in Nashville. (Event co-host George Kittle recently addressed rumors that Swift would perform there, touching on how many more people signed up this year after she attended in 2025. Kittle didn’t confirm or deny that she could make another appearance next week.)
Swift has had a whirlwind week herself. She was in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where she made a surprise appearance at the world premiere of Toy Story 5. (She recorded an original song for the film, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”) And last night, she was in New York City, attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals with Alana and Este Haim.
The couple is rumored to be getting married before Kelce’s training camp begins in late July. TMZ reported earlier today that Kelce has the next five weeks off following the conclusion of his minicamp. The couple, however, are keeping their wedding plans private.
