Too Fast, Too Soon?
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire’s (Hayley Erin) relationship did go from 0 to 60. The moment she healed from her Great Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) brainwashing and grooming, she jumped into a relationship with him.
Months later, the two discussed living together despite their feuding families. Victor (Eric Braeden) hired Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to break up his granddaughter’s relationship.
The Mustache believed that Kyle couldn’t be trusted. He was somewhat right. Kyle and Audra nearly went all the way in Nice. (Is Cane to blame for these imploding relationships on Y&R?)
But Kyle saw himself as the hero of this scenario. He claimed that he was trying to protect Claire by lying to her. Kyle wanted to get back to where they were, but Claire couldn’t. Suddenly, she realized this was too much, too soon.
So, she broke up with him. However, she might regret her decision, as it could lead Kyle back into Audra’s arms.
What’s Next For Claire and Kyle?
Claire wants to move forward with Holden (Nathan Owens). She accepted his offer to travel to Los Angeles together. She can’t wait to explore this new connection.
Meanwhile, Kyle could find himself back with Audra. She’s the rebound in his life. Kyle and Audra had an affair when he was married to Summer (Allison Lanier).
He got tempted by Audra when Summer covered up for Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who staged her own murder. (What happened to Phyllis Summers on Y&R?)
It won’t take long for Kyle to take the bait this time around. He’ll be back in Audra’s bed in no time, especially since he’s lonely and spiraling. Seeing them together might have Claire rethink her plans about moving on with Holden.
