William makes ‘shrewd move’ to protect the royal family

Daily Express reported that Prince William hired crisis manager Liza Ravenscroft, who was described by her previous employer as “bulletproof sunshine.”

Ravenscroft was recruited from the communications firm Edelman, where she worked on their U.K. crisis and issues team.

Royal correspondent Jennie Bond discussed Prince William‘s latest hire.

“Whatever the reason, it seems like a shrewd move,” Bond said, per Daily Express.

“Crises crop up with relentless regularity in the royal family, and to have someone skilled at heading them off, or at least being prepared and fully briefed to deal with the situation, is basic good PR,” Jennie Bond continued.

Prince Harry‘s complaints about royal life and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal placed a dark cloud over the Crown. However, Prince William is seemingly preparing for the future of the monarchy and its public image.

“This could be one of the changes William intends to pursue: ensuring his team is ahead of the game, fully proactive and not allowing ‘events, dear boy’ to destabilize the monarchy,” Jennie Bond noted.
