ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Truth & Treason, an upcoming World War II drama that hails from Angel Studios. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 17.

What is Truth & Treason about?
“As World War II rages, a teenage boy in Germany is forced to confront a terrible truth—loyalty to his country now means loyalty to a lie. When his trusted bishop urges obedience to the Nazi regime, he begins to question everything,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “And after his Jewish friend is taken away, he secretly listens to banned radio broadcasts and launches a resistance, exposing the truth. But in a nation ruled by fear, defiance comes at a cost—and as the regime closes in, he must decide what it truly means to be a good German.”
Truth & Treason is directed by Matthew Whitaker from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ethan Vincent. The movie stars Ewan Horrocks as Helmuth, Rupert Evans as Erwin, Ferdinand McKay as Karl-Heinz, Daf Thomas as Rudi, Sean Mahon as Hugo, Nye Occomore as Salomon Schwarz, Sylvie Varcoe as Elli, Ben Dilloway as Julius, Daniel Betts as Arthur, Gabriel Scott as Werner, and more.
It is produced by Whitaker, Russ Kendall, and John Foss. The creative team includes cinematographer Bianca Cline, editor Adam L. Banks, production designer Jurgita Gerdvilaite, and composer Aaron Zigman. The movie was originally developed as a four-part limited series when it was first announced in 2024.
