Jean Grey has already emerged as a key figure across multiple Marvel projects in 2026. The character appears in new gameplay footage for Marvel’s Wolverine, releasing on PS5 on September 15. Insomniac Games’ PlayStation blog describes her as “the emergent leader of the captured mutants” in the game. Jennifer Hale also voices Jean in X-Men ’97 Season 2, premiering on July 1.
Jeff Sneider previously reported that Sadie Sink will portray Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film’s trailer introduced a character with mind-control powers that align with Jean’s abilities. Marvel continues to keep the identity of Sink’s character under wraps ahead of the July 31 release.
Reports suggest Marvel’s X-Men reboot may build around the original comic book lineup. Director Jake Schreier and writers Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo are developing the project.
