Acclaimed actor Billy Bob Thornton was recently sighted in a New Jersey suburb filming an upcoming film.
Thornton, 70, was spotted Monday in Cranford on the set of an upcoming movie titled “Somedays,” according to TAPinto.
The Oscar-winning actor will star alongside Ariana Greenblatt in the film which is expected to be released in early 2027. Brian Klugman is writing and directing the project.
Thornton was seen dressed as a delivery driver in a parking lot along Miln Street.

“Somedays” is a movie about a terminally ill delivery driver (Thornton) who befriends a troubled teenage girl (Greenblatt) after saving her, forming a life-changing bond.
Thornton, who currently stars in the Paramount+ series “Landman‚” is famous for his roles in films such as “Bad Santa,” “Armageddon” and “Monster’s Ball.”
Greenblatt has appeared in projects like “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” “Barbie” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”
New Jersey has become a hotbed for shooting film and television projects recently. Adam Sandler, who filmed “Happy Gilmore 2″ throughout New Jersey, shot another Netflix project in Cranford last summer.
Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown,” was shot in the Garden State. Other upcoming star-studded Netflix films like “The Whisper Man” and “Here Comes the Flood” have also been seen shooting in New Jersey.
Even more Hollywood activity is expected to come to New Jersey as Netflix is building a massive studio in Oceanport.
