Alberto Del Rio hasn’t been seen in AAA after being fired in storyline. There were rumors of an eventual return in the WWE era, however, El Patron has yet to reappear. The man has to stay busy somehow, and you’ll never guess Alberto’s current project.

Alberto is a contestant on La Granja VIP, which is a Mexican reality show that centers on putting celebrities to work on a farm. Imagine Big Brother with the addition of milking cows. Alberto had a little trouble finessing those udders.
Alberto didn’t have any luck on the first challenge event.
La Granja VIP is a ten-week competition with contestants voted out each week. The debut episode was October 12. Alberto is part of the cast with Alfredo Adame, Luis “Jawy” Méndez, Kimberly Shantal, Sandra Itzel, César Doroteo, Manola Díez, Kike Mayagoitía, Carolina Ross, Lis Vega, “Omahi” Omar Maldonado-Hinojosa, Eleazar Gómez, Sergio Mayer Mori, “La Bea” Tania González, Fabiola Campomanes, and Lola Cortés.
