Young Thug shouted out North West during his Coachella set on Sunday (April 12), at one point asking about the whereabouts of her parents, Kim Kardashian and the artist formerly known as Kanye West.
“What’s up, North? How you doing?” the UY SCUTI artist said from the stage during Sunday’s set after spotting North in the crowd. “Where [are] your parents?”
Elsewhere in the set, Thug urged the Indio crowd to “make some noise” for Kim and Ye’s eldest child, who recently joined her father at his pair of SoFi Stadium shows.
“I want y’all to make some noise for North,” Thug said, as seen here. “She in this motherfucker. Like, you just casually out, just casually having fun. Like, what are you doing?”
Thug then turned his attention to One Battle After Another Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, who was also in the crowd.
For his Sunday set, Thug reached deep into his catalog, giving fans everything from his Travis Scott and Rich Homie Quan collaboration “Mamacita” (originally released in 2014) to his and Camila Cabello’s 2018 Hot 100 hit “Havana.” For the latter, Cabello herself made a surprise appearance.
This year’s Coachella was headlined by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. Other performers of note included Turnstile, Sexyy Red, Nine Inch Noize, Clipse, Slayyyter, PinkPantheress, Wet Leg, Addison Rae, Die Spitz, and more. The same lineup will return to the desert this coming weekend.
