Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.
Your Queer Weekly Horoscope for October 27-November 3: Your emotions can sometimes be both data and a directive!
Mars in Scorpio trines Jupiter in Cancer on October 27, giving you textured insight into your inner emotional world and clarity on how to implement this insight. The goal is to actualize both protection and connection under the Mars-Saturn trine. So what insight needs to be incorporated into your daily life to stay true to your desires without losing connection with others?
Then Mercury enters Sagittarius on October 29 until November 19 and then back again December 11 until January 1 because of Mercury Retrograde which begins on November 9. You’ll want to leverage October 29 through November 9 really thoughtfully.
As a guiding principle, are there any expectations or agreements that need to be completed or revised from August 11 to now? Whenever Mercury retrogrades, we’re asked to review the expectations and agreements we’ve made to ourselves and others during its last direct phase which began on August 11 and finishes the day Mercury turns retrograde on November 9. So try to conclude some of these conversations. If not, they can be edited during Mercury Retrograde.
Since this is a Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius first, we’re going to want to reconsider Sagittarius in our cognition and communication. From applied wisdom to exploration of the unknown with hope, Sagittarius gives us the transformative fires when we do better because we know better. On my side of the street, I’m experimenting with strengthening my “good faith” vision in others — especially those who infuriate me! — and working with generous assumptions about other people’s intent. Sagittarius helps us hold the bow and arrow close to the bullseye of the truth, which is that people don’t behave better around us if we’re not holding them in a positive regard. No punishing and harsh words lead to sustained changes of mind and heart. Working with good faith is my Mercury in Sagittarius goal!
You can try this out — or any prosocial perspective — on November 1, when Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries. Venus is the lover and Chiros is the wound. This is a day where we want to try to show love where people are wounded and remind people to love us where we’re wounded, too. This is the work. I’m no expert on spirituality but I think this is truly where the rubber meets the road. So be gentle and gracious with yourself and others. Imagine a way where you stay both protected and connected, helped, and healing. You can do it!
