Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.
Your Queer Weekly Horoscope for October 6-12, 2025: You can’t spell bound(aries) without Aries! On October 6, the annual Full Moon in Aries asks, “What boundaries need to be in place for me to stay both protected and connected?” When it comes to the yearly moment to consider Aries under the Full Moon, this is an invitation to speak your desires truthfully for both protection and connection.
I love how licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Raquel Martin explores the distinctions between boundaries, expectations, standards and rules because I think it’s so relevant for this Full Moon. According to this video, Dr. Martin teaches, “What am I committed to doing or not doing? That’s your boundary. What do I wish others would do? That’s your expectation. What do I allow or not allow in my life? That’s your standard. And what am I trying to control? That’s probably a rule and it might need adjusting.”
To support this deep work, on the same day as the Full Moon in Aries, Mercury enters Scorpio until October 29. With Mercury in Scorpio, we’re getting exceptionally direct with ourselves about how we communicate our truth in an effort to build intimacy and earn mutual trust with others. We hide in plain sight so often because of past pain in the present and there’s no trust earning there. So with Mercury in Scorpio until October 29, I want you to think of how you practice intimacy as “into-me-see” and what’re your guiding principles for earning trust?
On October 11, Venus in Virgo forms a tight opposition to Saturn in Pisces in the perfect timing if we really worked with Dr. Martin’s framework around boundaries, expectations, standards, and rules under the Full Moon in Aires. When Venus and Saturn interact, they want the clearest communication for connection. Especially so we know what agreements hold our affiliations in place. So get crystal clear with yourself and others so that your agreements keep you and your loved ones attuned to each other.
