Moving On

Crashing Christine’s party wasn’t the only meltdown Phyllis had that night. Later in the evening, she and Danny (Michael Damian) ran into each other during the power outage. In a surprising twist, instead of scolding Phyllis, Danny showed compassion and concern for her. Phyllis shrugged off his concern by claiming she was fine, but seconds later broke down.

A tearful Phyllis finally confessed she’s not fine, she hasn’t been since her kidnapping. Danny comforted Phyllis by reminding her that, despite her flaws, there’s some good in her. Phyllis was so touched by Danny’s words that she gave him and Christine her blessing. It was a poignant moment for the exes as Phyllis finally got her closure and seems ready to move on.

Mother-Daughter Talk

There hasn’t been much interaction between Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon (Sharon Case) during Mariah’s breakdown. Mariah then said she wishes she could see Sharon because she needs her mom. Sharon is going through a tough ordeal already, with Noah (Lucas Adams) being in a coma. Hearing Mariah’s confession had Sharon’s heart breaking even further, and left her torn between her two kids. Although Sharon’s focus is on Noah at the moment, hopefully, she can visit Mariah and give her a much-needed hug.
