Yungblud is sharing a secret with a rock legend.
On Sept. 12, the British singer posted an Instagram Reel that showed him with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. In the clip, Yungblud and Tyler shared a long embrace, with the “Dream On” legend wrapping his legs around the younger singer. The two then laughed and whispered about something.
“We got a secret and nobody knows it,” Tyler, 77, teased in a singsong voice.
Yungblud, 28, captioned the post with, “We got a secret … 👀.”
Fans reacted in the comment section, with many wondering if the two singers were teasing some sort of collaboration together.
“ITS GOTTA BE A COLLAB,” one fan wrote.
“That’s my guess,” another agreed.
“UMMM THIS A TOUR WITH THEM OR A SONG WITH THEM…,” another wrote.
“I felt like a collab was gonna happen when I first heard ‘Hello, Heaven Hello’ I heard major Steven Tyler influences!!!!” another fan added.
“ok, Dom…spill the tea already, what’s the secret? 👀,” another asked, referring to Yungblud by his real name.
“TELL US PLEASE,” another fan begged.
The official Aerosmith Instagram also commented with “rock on,” angel wings, and a skull emoji.
The teaser comes less than a week after Yungblud and Steven Tyler performed at MTV’s Video Music Awards to pay tribute to late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who died on July 22. The two singers were joined by Tyler’s Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry and guitar legend Nuno Bettencourt for an emotional performance of Osbourne’s classic 1991 song “Mama I’m Coming Home.”
Not only was Yungblud honored to be asked to perform in honor of his mentor and close friend Osbourne, but he appeared starstruck over performing with Tyler and Perry.
In a separate Instagram video, he gave fans a look at his whirlwind trek to New York City for the VMAs. “I made my way to UBS Arena so I could start rehearsals,” he said. “I couldn’t quite believe I’ll be performing with Aerosmith tonight to honor Ozzy Osbourne. What simulation am I in?”
