Fresh tracks from Zayn, J Cole, Tame Impala, EJAE and Jennie lead busy release week for global artists

A wave of major releases has arrived on February 6, with new projects from Zayn, J. Cole, Tame Impala, Jennie and Grammy-winning songwriter EJAE leading the week’s music schedule.

Nick Jonas opened the week with his fifth solo album Sunday Best. The record follows his 2026 single “Gut Punch” and features the acoustic-led song “Sweet To Me.” A press release states that the album’s storytelling “explores honesty, growth and rediscovery” as the singer reflects on life as a husband and father.

Zayn also confirmed the release of his fifth studio album KONNAKOL, due on April 17, introducing the project with the single “Die For Me.” The singer will begin a global tour on May 12, visiting 31 cities.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala joined forces with Jennie for “Dracula – JENNIE Remix,” a reworked version of the track from the band’s album Deadbeat. Jennie contributes two verses and harmonies throughout the song, which recently reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.

J. Cole previewed his forthcoming double album The Fall Off with the single “Two Six,” describing the project as intended to be his last. Other notable releases include sombr’s “Homewrecker” and Joji’s album Piss in the Wind.

The week also marked the return of EJAE, who issued her new single “Time After Time.” The song follows last year’s “In Another World” and is described as reflecting on a relationship that still lingers. EJAE said, “The melody of ‘Time After Time’ was stuck in my head for years, just like the person I wrote it about.”

After winning a Grammy Award for “Golden,” EJAE wrote, “I am still trying to process this whole past week, I still can’t believe I was even nominated for a Grammy….Growing up I always dreamed of winning one, but it felt so impossible. Thank you to the grammys and the whole recording academy for this insane honor…this means so much to me as a musician, and even more as an asian-american woman… this award is a reminder to never give up, to not be afraid to take risks, and to stay resilient.”
