Tom Holland and Zendaya met with fans on set.
The actor was wearing his Spider-Man costume.
The couple will appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
On Friday, Tom Holland and Zendaya appeared in photos on social media posing with fans. The pictures were taken on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Holland was dressed as the titular character, though his Spider-Man mask was off for the photo op.
Zendaya was wearing a long black peacoat over black slacks and a gray cardigan covering her white blouse. She had her hair up in a loose curly bun and wore a pair of black loafers.
In another video, a young fan gives Holland a drawing of Spider-Man for him to sign and the couple smiles and greets him. They then shake hands before waving goodbye.
The two stars will also be making an appearance in the upcoming Christopher Nolan adaptation of The Odyssey. On the same day as the meet-and greet, the film shared images of Holland in costume as his character Telemachus, son of Odysseus. He can be seen wearing a chest plate and matching arm bands, carrying a chalice.
In September, Holland told Agence France-Presse about being added to the film and then working with the famous director.
“The script is the best script I’ve ever read,” Holland said, adding that Nolan “is a real collaborator.”
“He knows what he wants, but it is not an environment where you can’t pitch ideas or build characters in certain ways,” he explained.
He stated similar things to GQ in July, saying the experience was “amazing” and “the job of a lifetime.”
“The best experience I’ve had on the film set. Incredible,” Holland gushed. “It was exciting. It was different. And I think the movie is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen.”
He continued, “Working with Chris, getting to know him and Emma [Thomas] was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never seen someone that can work the way that they do, and there is a reason why they’re the best in the business for sure. To get a front row seat to that and to be a part of the process and to collaborate with a true master of his craft and learn from him was the best experience I’ve ever had.”
