Kicking off the United States leg of her “Spider-Man” promo stint, Zendaya wore a look from the Swiss-French luxury fashion house’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection. The look evoked a modern noir style aesthetic, with the “Euphoria” Emmy Award-winning actress in an oversized white double-breasted long-sleeve blazer and charcoal-tone button down.
A thick, off-white tie gave the look an extra nod to power suiting, while Zendaya’s thigh-high glossy pointed-toe black boots added a dominating edge to the entire ensemble. The actress added a touch of that method dressing technique for her press tour looks with a pair of drop spiderweb earrings by Jacob & Co.

Zendaya’s look was a nod to the “Spider-Man” supervillain Mister Negative, per stylist Law Roach’s Instagram stories on the actress’ look. The comic book character, who was created by Dan Slott and Phil Jimenez and first appeared in 2008, is styled in black and white with glowing eyes.
Given the comic book context, Zendaya’s latest “Spider-Man” press tour look artfully combined cultural reference with a recent high-fashion moment. The Vetements design made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in June.

Curated by creative director Guram Gvasalia, the spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection saw the couturier “put the accent on womenswear, and put much of his menswear on women,” per Miles Socha’s WWD review of the collection. This particular look was worn by actress Sharon Stone, who closed the presentation.
“Was Stone’s appearance a deliberate echo of his brother Demna’s Gucci runway debut last March, which opened with a white dress Stone made unforgettable in ‘Basic Instinct’? Or just a coincidence?” Socha wrote.
