After the unstoppable fashion run that Zendaya had in 2024, the red carpets have felt a little quieter this year without her presence. Of course, the actor has been busy working on projects like Dune: Part Three and the third season of Euphoria, which explains why she’s been out of the spotlight. Still, we were treated to a surprise late last night, when the actor made an appearance at the Brothers Trust gala in support of her fiancé, Tom Holland.
Held at Christie’s auction house in London, the event included a “Posh Pub Quiz” hosted by Holland, whose family put on the charity event in support of the Java Joy organization. There, Holland swapped his spidey suit for a dapper tuxedo, and Zendaya matched his vibe with her own formal look.
For the gala, the Challengers star chose a black minidress pulled from the 2022 Valentino Pink PP Collection. Designed by former creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the LBD featured a high neckline with a wide ruffle fanning out from the top like a flower.
The minidress featured a shift silhouette with tight sleeves that flared out at the cuffs, and Zendaya completed the look with some black tights and subtle jewelry consisting of a diamond ring, stud earrings, and a Bvlgari Tubogas bracelet.
Thankfully, before tonight, it hasn’t been a totally Zendaya-less year. Back in May, the Emmy winner was one of the main attractions at the Met Gala, where she wore a sharp white zoot suit from Louis Vuitton, before switching into a vintage red floral dress by Patrick Kelly for the afterparty. Meanwhile, she’s also taken part in a few high-profile campaigns for On activewear and the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami 20th anniversary collection.
Back in April, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, teased that we can expect plenty of exciting looks on the horizon. When asked if he was helping to pick out Zendaya’s wedding dress, the image architect said: “Of course. Of course. It’s far away. They’re both making a bunch of movies this year and there’s a lot of premieres next year. So you’ll see a lot of red carpets. You know, I’m resting up for 2026.”
