Actor Adil Hussain shared a post on his X handle (previously Twitter) that read, “Devastated and shocked by the news of Zubeen Garg’s sudden death in an accident in Singapore. I am so very sad… His contribution to Assamese music and culture is extraordinary…”Composer Pritam worked with Zubeen on the song ‘Ya Ali’, which shot the latter to fame. He posted, “Zubeen Garg losing his life in an accident is just the most terrible and saddest news. Still trying to come to terms with it. My deepest condolences to Garima and his family. Om Shanti.”

According to the PTI report, he was rushed to the Singapore General Hospital after the accident; however, he had taken his last breath before reaching for treatment. The reports stated that the CPR attempts failed. Reportedly, his mortal remains will be sent for an autopsy.
