Julia Louis-Dreyfus announced on Tuesday that she will be making her Broadway debut in a revival of “Other Desert Cities.”
Well, she didn’t say it personally, but she did post the promo for it on her Instagram.
The post hypes the “once in a generation cast” and begins with the tagline: “Every family has a secret. Not every family survives it.”
The play revolves around a politically conservative family, in which Louis-Dreyfus portrays the matriarch, celebrating Christmas in Palm Springs when the daughter arrives home to announce she’s written a tell-all memoir, according to Variety.
Previews begin Sept. 29 at the Hudson Theatre, and the opening night on Oct. 18 will officially kick off the limited engagement, which ends on Jan. 17, 2027, Playbill reported.
Louis-Dreyfus, famed for her runs on “Veep” and “Seinfeld,” was recently at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her voice role in the animated Alzheimer’s movie “Tangles.”
She also helped to hilariously say farewell to “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.
“Your cancellation gave Donald Trump so much pleasure, I always think of you as the Stormy Daniels of late night.”
