The Champs-Élysées (French: Les Champs-Élysées, pronounced /ʃɑ̃zelize/) is the main avenue in Paris, France. It goes from the Place de la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle where the Arc de Triomphe is located.
It is a well-known avenue in Paris, mainly for its theaters, cafes and luxury goods stores, for the annual military parade on the National Day of France and, since 1975, it is where the final finish line of the Tour de France is located.
In France it is known as “the most beautiful avenue in the world.”
