NAVI have joined GamerLegion as the second IEM Atlanta 2026 Grand Finalists. A convincing win over BetBoom saw them reach the Final in 2:0 fashion, in another series for NAVI that they never once looked like losing.
NAVI best former IGL Boombl4 to reach IEM Atlanta Grand Final
After beating Vitality yesterday, NAVI could not afford to let this golden opportunity slip. With BetBoom in the Semis and GamerLegion awaiting in the Final, it now feels like they have a free run at the trophy. Here, when facing off against their former IGL Boombl4, they were not about to start struggling now.
This wasn’t a totally limp BetBoom, who were full of fight. But they were undeniably outclassed at every turn by a team on the up-and-up. BetBoom actually started this series with a winning half on their opponent’s Ancient pick. But regardless, NAVI’s CT side held firm in the second half, and they were able to close out 13:8.
Nuke was more one-way traffic. NAVI raced to an 8:4 lead, BetBoom showing only flashes of brilliance. It simply isn’t enough against a team with fundamentals like NAVI. 13:6 was the eventual score, with NAVI’s roaring T side seeing them home and into the IEM Atlanta 2026 Grand Final.
