Olean Thalia TATRO
OBITUARY
TATRO, Olean Thalia Olean, born May 16, 1923, died peacefully at home on September 27, 2014 in the care of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Tatro, daughter Janice (Tatro) Walton and granddaughter Grace Walton. Olean is survived by her son, David Tatro and his wife Luba, her other granddaughter, Brigitte (Tatro) Varone, her son-in-law Bill Walton and many loved nieces and nephews. Olean grew up and loved living in Sonoma County. She adored orange tabby cats, autumn leaves, and the breathtaking landscapes of our rural areas. Yet it was helping others to give credit to the One who created all of these things that had been the focus of her life for almost 70 years. An unassuming homemaker and gardener, she was gifted in the kitchen and a skilled knitter and remembered for her love of the Bible research and her phenomenal memory. Olean with her crown of braids, may have knocked on your door to talk about what she learned. Please join us at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 744 North Main St., Sebastopol, on Saturday October 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. to remember her.
