Nicole Françoise Florence Dreyfus (27 April 1932 – 18 June 2024), better known by her stage name Anouk Aimée or simply Anouk, was a celebrated French actress whose career spanned over seven decades. From her debut in 1947 to her final appearance in 2019, she featured in more than 70 films. Launching her career at just 14 years old, she combined early training in dance and acting with formal education. While most of her work was in French cinema, Aimée also starred in productions across Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, and the United States.
Annie Avril Nightingale CBE (1 April 1940 – 11 January 2024) was a pioneering English broadcaster known for her work on both radio and television. In 1970, she made history by becoming the first woman to present on BBC Radio 1, and later broke ground again as the first female host of BBC Television’s The Old Grey Whistle Test, a role she held for four years.
