Truckee Optimist Christmas Tree Lot – 12-6 p.m., Truckee Crossroads Shopping Center, Corner of Highway 89S. The Truckee Optimist Club begins its 5th decade of Selling Christmas to raise funds to support the Local Youth of Truckee. Members, volunteers, and many of the Youth groups the club supports man the lot and will assist you in selecting the perfect tree. The quality of trees this year are excellent due to late rains both here locally and at our Christmas Tree providers in Oregon. Locally cut Red Firs from 5 feet to 14 feet tall. Nordman Firs and Grand Firs from Oregon from 5 feet to 9 feet tall. The lot opens at Noon the day after Thanksgiving and will remain open until December 22 or when the last tree is sold.
