Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have received a new warning as royal expert asked them to stay away from Royal Ascot, ignoring King Charles’ advice.
Speaking with The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast, royal author Robert Jobson said that the sisters could face renewed scrutiny surrounding their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The York sisters, who recently decided to skip the traditional Easter Matins service at Windsor’s St George’s Chapel, have been keeping a low profile.
Jobson said the scandal remains “dark, murky and won’t go away,” adding that their appearance would inevitably shift attention toward them.
“I think they’ve got to stay away. I think they have to stay away. You’re just drawing attention to them,” he said.
The expert added, “As soon as they’re in the carriage with someone at Ascot, we’ll all be focusing on what they’re wearing, what they’re doing and who is with them.”
Adding to it, news commentator Samara Gill said that Beatrice and Eugenie have been “tarnished with the Epstein brush.”
“I don’t think there’s any getting out of that or rinsing themselves of that for a very long time,” the royal expert added.
“They socially mountaineered themselves into good marriages and they can just afford to go off and live their own life.”
