Is there anything cuter than kids meeting their newborn little siblings?

Some of the sweetest moments in life are when newly minted big brothers and sisters get to see their younger sibling for the first time, and that’s no different for the children of celebrities.

From Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian‘s daughter Alexis Olympia Jr. joining the club as big sister to little Adira River to Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara‘s son Riley ready to take on big brother duties as soon as he laid eyes on little bro Barry Bruce (and later little sis Mikey Moon!), stars have shared some of these precious moments on social media.

It’s as big a moment for the parents as it is for their children. When Ohanian shared a carousel of Instagram photos of his newly minted family of four alongside a message of gratitude to his wife and the hospital medical team, he also wrote: “I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister.”

Meghan Trainor & Daryl Sabara’s Sons Riley & Barry

Following son Barry’s July 2023 arrival, Trainor shared a sweet TikTok in which her older son Riley, then 2, first said hello.

“Riley is so gentle, sweet, and absolutely in love with his new best friend,” she captioned the post, which featured Riley holding his little brother in one shot before stroking him gently from outside his bassinet in another.

Trainor and Sabara later welcomed a third child, daughter Mikey, via surrogate in January 2026. Riley was just as excited as before to now have a little sister, with the “Still Don’t Care” singer sharing that both of her sons were “over the moon.”

“Riley takes his ‘big brother’ role very seriously, and Barry is just so gentle and curious with her,” she said. “Watching them bond with their sister has been one of the sweetest parts of this whole experience. We printed out photos for Riley to bring to school and show his entire class, and he couldn’t have been more excited.”

Chip & Joanna Gaines’ 4 Oldest Children & Son Crew

When Chip and Joanna Gaines welcomed son Crew in the summer of 2018, they had a whole welcoming committee in the form of their four eldest children: sons Drake, then 13, and Duke, then 9, and daughters Emmie Kay, then 8, and Ella, then 11.

In one photo shared by Joanna, her big kids stood by the hospital door, listening for their cue.

‘True’ love!

To round out season 2 of The Kardashians in November 2022, the Hulu reality show revisited the birth of Khloé Kardashian‘s younger child, son Tatum, who arrived in July 2022 via surrogate.

Kardashian first introduced her then 4-year-old daughter True to the newborn via FaceTime from the hospital. The siblings later enjoyed an at-home meet-cute together on a cozy chair with their mom.

“This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive and happy and beautiful,” Kardashian said on a different episode of the series.

The Khloud founder shares both Tatum and True with her ex-boyfriend, NBA pro Tristan Thompson.

Lauren Bushnell Lane & Chris Lane’s Sons Dutton & Baker

Chris Lane shared a sweet photo from when his two sons, Dutton Walker and Baker West, met for the first time in the hospital in October 2022.

“Life just got 8 Pounds Sweeter! Family of 4 Now!!” the country singer captioned the family photo before commenting, “Bigggg bro loves his lil bro! Love our family and proud of you sweetheart!”

In a video of the brothers’ first meeting shared by mom Lauren Bushnell Lane, Chris can be heard saying to Dutton, then 16 months, “That’s your brother!”

“Mama missed you, bud!” the Bachelor alum told her elder son, who was dressed in a “big bro” tee, as her dad David took video.

The Lanes are now a family of five — Lauren gave birth to daughter Logan on Nov. 11, 2025.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s two oldest children, Luna Simone and Miles Theodore — then 7 and 5, respectively — were on the case when baby sis Esti Maxine arrived on Jan. 13, 2023.

“The house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕 Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love,” Teigen wrote in an Instagram caption introducing Esti.

After welcoming son Benjamin Allen in February 2019, Andy Cohen expanded his family in April 2022, when daughter Lucy joined his brood.
