Pop star Taylor Swift is back with her 12th studio album and Target is acting swiftly.
The retail chain has announced that participating stores across the country will stay open past its regular closing hours for the release next month.
According to the release, eleven New Jersey locations, with two stores in Monmouth and Ocean counties, will be open at midnight on Friday, Oct. 3.
The stores in Middletown (2105 Route 35) and Toms River (1331 Hooper Ave.) will be open for the release of “Life of a Showgirl.”
“The Life of a Showgirl” will have three CD versions that feature “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Frightening” edition, “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Beautiful” edition and “The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Rapturous” edition. All albums include a poster. Fans can pre order online. Limit is 4 per customer.
Swifties can also purchase “The Life of a Showgirl: Sweat And Vanilla Perfume” on CD or vinyl.
“It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life,” Taylor Swift said on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.
“This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time,” Swift stated.
