Robert Redford has died at age 89, according to a statement from his representative. Cindi Berger, chairman and CEO of Rogers & Cowan PMK, said “Robert Redford passed away on Sept. 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved. He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy.”
The Oscar winner has 86 acting credits to his name. Redford officially retired from acting in 2018 after nearly 60 years of gracing audiences with his Hollywood heartthrob looks and charm.
