The 2025 Primetime Emmy Award winners will be revealed throughout tonight’s ceremony, which is hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. In the drama series categories, the frontrunners heading into the ceremony include Apple TV+’s hit sci-fi series Severance (27 nominations) and HBO Max‘s critically acclaimed medical drama The Pitt (13 nominations).

For the comedy categories, Seth Rogen‘s Apple TV+ series The Studio is a top contender with 23 nominations. In terms of limited series, anthology series, or movies, Netflix‘s Adolescence (13 nominations)and HBO Max’s The Penguin (24 nominations) are expected to perform well, with the latter already winning eight Creative Arts Emmys before the main ceremony.
