Dancing for Our Heroes 2026: See the competition at Rotary Club of Greater Anderson’s annual charity event

See highlights from Dancing For Our Heroes, Rotary Club of Greater Anderson’s 19th annual charity event held in Anderson, SC, on April 16, 2026. More than $187,000 was raised for 15 local charities.

The Anderson Soirée returns this week, bringing four days of live music, food vendors, art displays, and family-friendly activities to the city’s core.

Musical headliners include Joe Nichols on the Papa Bear Car Wash Sound Stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and Benton Blount at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.

The Tams will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, on the Duke Energy Stage.

The Anderson Soiree will take over downtown Anderson on April 24 and April 25. The event will feature a variety of activities for residents to enjoy, including food, music, art, and activities for children.

This is the fourth year of the event since its 13-year hiatus. The Soirée was originally held in downtown Anderson from 1985 to 2009, but discontinued due to financial issues. In 2022, the city of Anderson brought the event back.

Road closures for Anderson Soiree

Roads will be closed from Friday, April 24, until Sunday morning, April 26, from Tribble Street to John Street. The parking lot behind Grace Church will be closed from 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, through Saturday evening, April 25.

The Church Street Heritage Plaza parking lot will be reserved for handicapped parking during the festival. This lot will close on Friday, April 24, at 6 a.m. The Generator Park parking lot will also close at this time.

Anderson Soiree music lineup

Thirty-nine musical acts will perform on four stages throughout the two days.

  • The “Papa Bear Car Wash South Main Stage” is located on South Main Street in front of City Hall and the Anderson Police Department.
  • The “Duke Energy Stage” is located in Carolina Wren Park.
  • The Anderson University South Carolina School of the Arts Stage will be located on the Courthouse Square.
  • The North Main Commons Stage is located on North Main Street beside Magnetic South Brewery.

Food and drinks at Anderson Soiree

There will be 21 food vendors at the Soiree, serving a variety of dishes, including desserts, Mexican, pizza, barbecue, and frozen treats.

If guests want to purchase alcohol, they must purchase a wristband and wear it throughout the event site. These can be purchased for $5 at participating restaurants, the promotions Tent, or at the Wristband Tent on Friday, April 24, located beside the Papa Bear Car Wash South Main Stage.

The participating wristband sellers are Brews on Main, Carolina Bauernhaus, Doolittle’s, Earle Street Kitchen and Bar, Electric City Pizza, Groucho’s Deli, Growler Haus, J Peter’s Bar and Grill, Kitchen Emporium, Magnetic South Brewery, McGee’s Scot-Irish Pub, Raines on Main, Sullivan’s Metropolitan Grill, Summa Joe’s, Taco Loco, TWB, UP on the Roof and Viva Wine Bar.

No coolers or outside drinks are allowed at the Soirée.

Art and more at Anderson Soiree

There’ll be selections of fine art, home goods, jewelry, apparel, and stationery accessories to purchase.

Visitors can also experience SculpTOUR, a rotating public art exhibition featuring large-scale sculptures installed throughout downtown, with new works unveiled each year leading up to the Soirée.

The art extends beyond the festival footprint through Art on the Town, placing original artwork inside local businesses and turning the entire downtown into part of the Soirée experience.
