Avatar: Fire and Ash

20th Century Studios’ Avatar: Fire and Ash bowed No. 1 on the Official Film Chart, the U.K.’s weekly home entertainment sales chart, through April 8 — topping Warner’s Wuthering Heights, and Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT at No. 3 and No. 8, respectively.
Collectively, the three titles have sold more than $1.9 billion in global tickets.
Lionsgate’s longtime charter, The Housemaid, starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney, surged 18 spots to No. 2 in its eighth week on the chart.
Last week’s chart-topper, Warner’s Sinners dropped four spots to No. 4. The Oscar-winning brother drama remains a presence in its 48th(!) week on the chart.
Sliding three spots to No. 5, Warner’s Oscar-winning One Battle After Another remains an equal chart presence after 21 weeks.
Sony’s 28 Years Later – The Bone Temple skyrocketed 24 spots to No. 6 in its fifth week on the charts.
Universal’s Wicked – For Good, which generated four non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, remained in the Top 10 at No. 7 after 14 weeks. The studio’s Oscar-winning Hamnet climbed 24 spots to No. 9 in its eighth week on the chart.
Rounding out the Top 10, Universal’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie, in its 103rd week on the charts.
