Fall is here, give or take another heat wave, and with it comes fall TV. As the television world gears up for the 77th Emmy Awards, next year’s hopefuls are already debuting amid a stacked autumn schedule.
The season kicks off with “The Paper,” a highly anticipated “The Office” spinoff starring Domhnall Gleeson on Peacock. September brings “Task” from “Mare of Easttown” creator Brad Ingelsby, Olivia Cooke and Robin Wright-starrer “The Girlfriend,” a new FX vehicle from “Reservation Dogs” scribe Sterlin Harjo, and Mae Martin’s latest eerie collaboration with Netflix — among many others.

October brings a new Anne Rice series to AMC, a new workplace comedy to CBS, a new season of “Nobody Wants This” to Netflix, and the horror series “It: Welcome to Derry” on HBO. In November, TV darlings Sarah Snook and Rhea Seehorn grace our screens once more, and “Stranger Things” begins a multi-part farewell that will continue through the end of the year.
And as the year winds down, don’t forget to leave room for the titles with unannounced dates that have already caught our eye, including Netflix’s “Boots,” “The Beast in Me,” and “Death by Lightning,” as well as Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair” on Hulu and Marvel’s “Wonder Man” starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Keep an eye out as always for our monthly new TV previews and all things Emmys ahead of September 14.
Here are 25 TV shows to check out this fall.
