Harrison Solomon has made his bombshell return to Love Island All Stars, here’s a recap of some of his most explosive moments from series 12
The drama in the Love Island villa shows no signs of slowing down, with plenty of tears and explosive confrontations continuing to unfold.
So far, viewers have been gripped by chaotic love triangles, heated arguments and shocking departures, alongside bombshell entrances. In recent episodes, audiences were left astonished when two bombshells made their arrival in iconic fashion: Jessy Potts and Harrison Solomon.
Nevertheless, viewers were swift to voice their annoyance upon witnessing Harrison’s return to their screens, merely months following his controversial appearance during Love Island series 12.
He had been paired with eventual champion Toni Laites before becoming entangled in the programme’s most notorious love triangle, prompting widespread criticism from home viewers regarding his conduct.
Upon his reappearance, one Love Island enthusiast remarked: “Ugh, hate Harrison. Why did they bring him back after what he did.”
Another commented: “Harrison coming back is DEFINITELY NOT what the fans want to see.”
With Harrison now pursuing his All Stars bombshell journey, investigating possible romantic prospects with Belle and Sher, we’ve revisited some of his most dramatic episodes from series 12.
Memorable arrival
Harrison Solomon made his Love Island villa entrance on day 8 and instantly established chemistry with American bombshell Toni Laites, where the pair seemed to share an undeniable bond with considerable common ground. The duo embarked on a date and matters seemed promising, before everything descended into chaos, reports OK!.
Secret kiss
However, whilst exploring his connections, and in a pair with Toni, he continued to engage in flirty banter with fellow Islander Helena, before the two shared secret kiss on the Terrace.
Viewers criticised the behaviour as underhand at the time, which ultimately resulted in heated exchanges between him and Toni. After admitting to the “little kiss”, Toni questioned why he never does it in front of her, calling him a “p****” and “sneaky”.
Despite the setback, Harrison and Toni remained coupled up with each other right through to Casa Amor.
Notorious love triangle
Harrison developed another romantic interest with Lauren Wood whilst in Casa Amor, which resulted in what would become one of the programme’s most notorious love triangles. He eventually returned to the main villa with Lauren, yet remained fixated on American bombshell Toni.
Despite Toni being partnered with Cach, the pair kept having discussions until word reached Toni that Harrison had spent the night with Lauren. These actions prompted Toni to distance herself and concentrate on her relationship with Cach.
Harrison’s revelation to Toni
Matters soon shifted again when Harrison brought Toni to the terrace and essentially requested she select him at the forthcoming recoupling ceremony. Toni subsequently picked Harrison at the firepit, unaware of the complete nature of Lauren and Harrison’s involvement.
Her choice threw Lauren and Cach into turmoil and heartbreak, leading to considerable upset. Yet it wasn’t long before Harrison reversed his stance and confessed he genuinely missed Lauren.
Explosive exit
Subsequently, Lauren was unexpectedly removed from the island, where she pleaded with Harrison to depart alongside her. Though he initially declined to go, the following day he chose to accompany her home, where they carried on their romance in the outside world.
Nevertheless, months following the programme’s conclusion, Lauren and Harrison revealed their split. According to reports, they remained in daily contact right up until his All Stars appearance.
Women’s Aid statement
In response to Harrison’s conduct, Women’s Aid released a statement criticising the star’s behaviour, whilst the programme also attracted hundreds of Ofcom complaints. Harrison subsequently acknowledged his errors.
In his exit interview he said: “Normally I say I live life with no regrets, but the way I went about certain situations I definitely would’ve handled it differently on reflection. I feel like I would’ve taken myself away from the situation for a day or two and just really figured out what I wanted.
“I would’ve had those awkward conversations just to let people know where my head was at, I do shy away from those conversations on the outside. Especially here, I should’ve been more honest.
“It was for the greater good, and it would’ve stopped people’s feelings from getting hurt. People were hurt more by me being so indecisive and trying to avoid awkward conversations. I definitely would’ve gone about handing triangles in another way.”
Love Island All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
