7 Little Johnstons star Liz Johnson‘s bridal shower photo was notably missing an important family member: her sister, Anna Johnston.
On Saturday, Aug. 30, Liz and Anna’s sister, Emma Johnston, took to Instagram with a picture celebrating the bride-to-be ahead of Liz and Brice Bolden‘s November wedding.
“Celebrating the bride to be 👰🏼♀️🥂🤍 #tohaveandtobolden,” the younger sibling captioned her update.
For the featured image, balloons on the wall read, “PJs & Prosecco,” next to balloons of a wine bottle and a wine glass. Liz and Emma sat on a couch beside Liz’s best friends, Dacey Triplett and Carol Beasley, and other women as all of them donned pajamas. The sisters’ mother, Amber Johnston, shared the same snap to her Instagram Stories.
In the comments, followers shared their excitement for Liz’s upcoming wedding.
One fan shared, “Congratulations to Liz. Watched her since she was a little girl. Love the Johnstons. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Another wrote, “Awe!!! Love your guys PJ’s btw.”
Someone else commented, “Congrats to Liz! So Happy for you, Enjoy girls time.
Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user exclaimed, “Congratulations 🍾🎉🎊.”
However, Anna was clearly missing in the photo amid a rift with her parents and siblings that came to a head in Season 15 of the TLC series.
Ahead of Season 15, Liz opened up about the ongoing family feud in an exclusive interview with Parade.
“Don’t believe what you read, don’t believe what you see,” she warned. “This season will give you some more insight and give you more of the truth on what’s been going on. A lot of it has been one sided on my sister’s part and on all these tabloids.”
Meanwhile, Anna offered further insight into the relationships during the series itself.
“From the outside, it looks like my family is very welcoming, and I am not being very [welcoming] back,” the eldest sister told producers on the show. “But when my parents get mad at me, they’ll get mad at me for however long they want. But then when they’re finally over and they decide they want to talk to me, they expect me to forget about it.”
In March, Anna also addressed the rift with her family in a video posted on TikTok.
“Pov – you grow up on reality tv & get treated like the black sheep by loved ones for millions to see,” Anna wrote in a clip of herself at a department store. She added in the caption, “Don’t let the smile fool you guys it’s tough with the episodes for me too.”
Fans were thrilled to see Anna and Emma reunite in July in new photos shared via Instagram. It’s unclear, though, whether Anna has mended her relationships with Liz and other members of her family, however.
