The #Clueless30 trend is part of a bigger wave of ‘90s movie quotes finding new life online, from Jack Nicholson’s“You can’t handle the truth” in A Few Good Men to Adam Sandler’s “That’s some high-quality H2O” in The Waterboy. Some are boosted by big-screen anniversaries while others prove their pop culture power needs no special occasion.
The ‘90s Movie Lines Everyone’s Quoting
Silverstone’s Cher is leading the charge this summer as Clueless celebrates 30 years. Her “Ugh! As if!” delivery has inspired TikTok users to create outfit transformations, friendship skits and side-by-side recreations of the film’s most memorable moments.
TikTok’s Discover page still features the quote from A Few Good Men prominently, proving it has some serious meme-staying power. What started earlier this summer as a challenge where users finished famous ‘90s movie quotes has grown into a full-blown nostalgia loop with dedicated sound pages racking up thousands of plays.

Big Milestones for ‘90s Movies This Year
It’s no coincidence that these lines are trending the same year their films are marking big anniversaries. Clueless returned to theaters in June for its 30th joining a wave of 1995 releases getting the big screen treatment again.
Brad Pitt’sSe7en was back in IMAX theaters in January with a new 4K restoration and Babe charmed audiences in UK cinemas this spring. Toy Story is set for a limited rerelease on September 12, followed a week later by Ron Howard’sApollo 13. Even Casper starring Christina Ricci and Bill Pullmanwill float back into theaters in October just in time for Halloween.
