Andy Reid recently opened up about what story he’d tell at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding.
During an interview with Kansas City sports radio’s 96.5 The Fan with Fescoe and Dusty, the Chiefs head coach fielded questions about Kelce’s pop superstar girlfriend.
In response to being asked about Swift and Kelce’s hypothetical future wedding and what story he might tell at the event, Reid joked, “Well, there are a few I can’t tell.”
“No, there are a lot of great stories,” he continued. “He’s done so many good things, all the things he does off the field that people don’t know about, just helping people out. He’s got a big heart that way.”
Additionally, Reid revealed his favorite Swift album, her 2012 project Red.
“Now listen, I knew her before he knew her,” the former Philadelphia Eagles coach said of Swift and Kelce. “So my family has been a big fan of hers. We know her father and mother and that whole deal from the Philadelphia area. Her dad is a huge football fan.”
The 67-year-old also boldly declared that Swift has become the “most famous woman in the world since probably the Queen [Elizabeth] passed away.”
Reid added, “She sure handled it the right way, and that’s the part I appreciate the most.”
The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off the regular 2025-26 NFL season on Friday, Sept. 5, against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil.
