Now that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is filming Season 15, rumors are starting to trickle out. Over the weekend, fans spotted some of the cast filming in Montauk, in the Hamptons. Newbie Rachel Zoe was seen dancing with castmates Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.
According to sources, Denise Richards is also rejoining the show. Following the (premature?) cancelation of her Bravo show, now is a great time to bring Denise back. Currently going through a tumultuous divorce from Aaron Phypers, RBOBH producers have apparently promised Denise a prominent storyline.
Rachel is reportedly not happy about Denise returning to the show just when she’s coming in. This was supposed to be her moment. In fact, insiders claim Rachel is positively “livid” about Denise stealing her spotlight.
Is Rachel Zoe mad Denise Richards is back on RHOBH with a “storyline?”
Today’s Duex U podcast included the news of RHOBH cast members being seen in the Hamptons. In addition, they reported that not only is Rachel furious that Denise is back, but she’s refusing to film with her.
When a new cast member is refusing to film with a castmate, that’s fairly problematic. You just got here, Rachel. You don’t make the rules.
Denise has a pretty strong storyline to offer with her messy split from her husband of nearly seven years. For her part, Denise is claiming that Aaron was physically abusive to her. Meanwhile, her estranged husband is accusing her of having an affair with Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test instructor Rudy Reyes.
Bravo can’t pass up this juicy storyline, especially if Denise is willing to talk about it. While both Dorit and Kyle are also currently going through divorces of their own, neither of them offers such a colorful narrative.
So is Denise hoping to get her diamond back? Only time will tell. In the meantime, don’t expect to see her and Rachel braiding each other’s hair. Production would be happy just to get them in the same room.
