Kourtney Kardashian isn’t above owning up to having an error in judgement.
On August 8, the Kardashians star, 46, shared a series of photos on Instagram in a post she captioned “food for the soul.”
Among the shots was a sweet photo of Kardashian cuddling up to her son Rocky, 21 months, during a boat ride. However, the child, who she shares with husband Travis Barker, was not wearing a life vest.
After fans flooded the comment section with concern — one wrote, “No life jacket??? And the Mother of the year award goes to…..” — Kardashian took to her Instagram Story the following day to acknowledge her mistake.
“Update: bought a life vest that fits!” Kardashian wrote, alongside a photo of a child wearing a life jacket, according to People.
“Good looking out,” the Lemme founder continued. “Honestly didn’t think about some of the dangers.”
“Thank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest,” she concluded the post.
Kardashian — who also shares Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick — has been paying more attention to what fans are commenting on her social media posts as of late.
As Star previously reported, the reality star replied to a fan who believed she’s expecting her fifth child by explaining that her healthy body shape is due to “breastfeeding, eating gelato, focaccia, pasta, not working out and living my best damn life baby!”
Despite Kardashian debunking rumors, fans continue to speculate. On the same post featuring Rocky without a life vest, one fan wrote, “Rumors have it that you’re pregnant Kourtney,” to which she responded, “Eating pancakes and jumping off cliffs 🤙”
