SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Schenectady County is set to host a series of exciting events this summer and fall, offering a variety of cultural and entertainment experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The “Savor Schenectady” summer dining pass is available from August 1 to 31. Diners can explore secret menu items and exclusive specials at participating restaurants. Those who visit at least 10 restaurants will have a chance to win a $50 gift card, with the first 10 diners guaranteed to win.
Art enthusiasts can visit the “Art of the Brick” exhibition at Armory Studios, showcasing the world’s most elaborate display of LEGO art. The family-friendly exhibit is open now through the end of October.
Music lovers can enjoy “Rockin the Dome” at miSci, a full dome music and light experience featuring the music of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The event opens this Saturday, August 23, and will run every Saturday through October 4.
The “Autumn Glow Festival” at Mabee Farm in Rotterdam returns for its second year from September 4 to November 2. Last year, the festival attracted over 15,000 visitors. Attendees can enjoy hundreds of hand-made illuminated artisan lanterns in a walkable experience.
The weekend of September 6 will be bustling with the 49th Annual Greek Fest downtown, the Little Italy Street Fest in Little Italy, and Caribbean Day at Music Haven in Central Park.
Additionally, the M&T Bank Center will host its first concert featuring Lee Brice, with local country artist David J opening, at Mohawk Harbor on Saturday, September 6.
