Jason and Travis Kelce can’t believe how far they’ve come as podcast hosts.
While they’ve tackled everything from football games to engagements — hello Taylor Swift — the brothers haven’t had much experience interviewing A-list stars. Enter: Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro, who stopped by the brother’s hit “New Heights” podcast for a chat.
“I have to give it up to @jasonkelce and Travis Kelce on @newheightshow,” one listener wrote via X on Wednesday, September 24. “It was such a great episode, I had fun watching it, and I’m sure that Leo and Benny also had fun doing this interview.”
Jason, 37, saw the praise and immediately expressed gratitude for the encouragement after trying something relatively new.

“Thank you, it was such an honor to be able to have them on honestly,” he wrote via X. “Very much out of our depth, but it was a blast for us to talk with them about the industry and their movie One Battle After Another coming out this Friday. Lenny and Benny were awesome!”
During Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” Jason and Travis, 35, followed their regular routine of discussing the biggest moments in the NFL.
While they recapped some of the buzziest games of the week, they also reflected on Jason showing off his skills on the saxophone ahead of the Baltimore Ravens vs. Detroit Lions game.
After Travis joked, “We’ve been talking a lot of nonsense,” it was time to introduce DiCaprio, 50, and del Toro, 58.

“Be prepared for the least professionally done interview of all time,” Jason said moments before the interview began. “Play it cool guys, play it cool.”
Travis added, “We are in way over our head. I still can’t wrap my heads around this one. You guys are going to love it.”
To get the athletes even more pumped about the interview, DiCaprio revealed at the beginning of the chat that it was his first podcast interview with del Toro — ever. As a result, “We don’t know what’s going on.”
Del Toro added, “It’s an honor being interviewed by you two guys.”

From all accounts, the podcast interview was a success, with the movie stars having ample time to discuss their new film, One Battle After Another.
As for Travis, he still can’t believe he had the opportunity to interview two Hollywood legends.
“This was a f***ing blast,” he said at the end of the chat. “Thank you for your time. Thank you for blessing us with this movie. This movie is so badass!”
