Country singer Gavin Adcock is being slammed by fans online after speaking negatively about “I Remember Everything” singer Zach Bryan.
Adcock’s comments come months after the former football player slammed Bryan earlier in the summer for his response to a young fan who criticized him for seemingly ignoring paying audience members after one of his concerts.
And this isn’t the first time Gavin Adcock has spoken out against a popular celebrity. During Beyoncé‘s record-breaking “Cowboy Carter” tour, the “Deep End” singer accused her of not being country enough.

While speaking with Rolling Stone Nashville Now about his music, live shows, and blossoming career, Adcock also opened up to the publication about his thoughts on Bryan, who has been in and out of the headlines since 2023.
According to Adcock, he doesn’t believe Bryan is who he portrays himself to be to the public. He went on to say that Bryan “puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life,” later adding that sometimes, his “true colors” come out.
Adcock further stated, “I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”

According to a previous report from Whiskey Riff, Bryan stirred up a bit of chaos in the summer of 2025 after finishing up a three-night residency with Kings of Leon at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey when he allegedly ignored fans who were trying to snap photos with him after one of the shows.
A TikTok user blasted the 29-year-old singer on the social media platform and captioned a video, “Zach Bryan driving away from his fans that waited four hours to meet him. He didn’t even roll down his window to say hi.”
The publication also reported that the same TikTok user uploaded another video with a similar message, informing their followers that they waited for the singer for hours and that he “completely blew everyone off” and later “drove away like a jerk.”
Bryan clapped back at the alleged 14-year-old user, telling them that they weren’t “entitled” to his time, energy, or free photos. He later added, “Get off my d-ck.”
The news about Bryan’s alleged actions didn’t sit well with Adcock, who voiced his frustrations with Bryan on X, formerly Twitter, writing, “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old, why do people idolize you?”
He continued, “That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got a feeling too and you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30.”
Gavin Adocck Clarifies Why He Has Problems With Bryan

After some time, Bryan replied to the social media pushback and clarified that he indeed took pictures with fans during his recent shows with Kings of Leon.
However, according to Adcock, taking pictures wasn’t the issue to begin with.
“It wasn’t about not wanting to sign autographs after a show, it’s like letting a 14-year-old kid rant, without saying, ‘Get off my d-ck.’ You’re bigger than that,” he said.
Fans Roast Adcock Online Following His Statements
Adcock’s recent comments about Bryan didn’t necessarily go over well with some of the latter’s most passionate and loyal fans, considering many of them roasted Adcock all across social media.
One user on Instagram called out Adcock for using his chance to speak with Rolling Stone about his music to “try to level up the feud with Zach Bryan.”
Another user shared something similar and accused Adcock of starting beef with “random people for clout.”
A third user wrote, “Lots to say for someone who doesn’t write his own songs,” while a fourth posted, “Gavin is on an unrivaled hating streak. Crazy for someone [whose] music isn’t even that good.”

Adcock stirring up controversy among fanbases isn’t anything new for the country singer. Per a previous report from The Blast, Adcock faced some heat from the BeyHive after speaking poorly about Beyoncé’s genre-bending album, “Cowboy Carter.”
During a show, Adcock told the audience that he was bothered by Beyoncé’s album being ahead of his on the iTunes chart.
“You can tell her we’re coming for her f-ckin a-s,” he said into the microphone on stage. “That sh-t ain’t country music, and it ain’t never been country music, and it ain’t never gonna be country music.”
Hours after his video went viral, Adock issued a statement and explained how much he admires Beyoncé’s music. He added, however, “I really don’t believe that her album should be labeled as country music.”
He went on: “It doesn’t sound country, it doesn’t feel country.”
