Prince Harry has been estranged from his brother Prince William for years and one royal expert believes it could all be down to Meghan Markle.
It’s believed William and Harry haven’t spoken since the Sussexes stepped down as senior working royals in 2020. The tension between Harry and his brother worsened when the Duke of Sussex released his explosive memoir, Spare.
In the book, Harry opened up about an explosive argument he had with William, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly called Meghan “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive.”
Now, royal expert Ingrid Seward has blamed Meghan for the feud, suggesting to Fox News Digital the former Suits star is “the fly in the ointment.”
The royal commentator also pointed out how Meghan is “disliked by a large number of the monarchists of this country,” who see her as “very damaging to the royal family” – something which could sway William.
Despite the ongoing tension, Harry has made it clear he would like to reunite with his estranged family members.
Speaking in his most recent TV interview, the Duke of Sussex told the BBC, he “would love a reconciliation” with the royals and admitted he doesn’t want to fight anymore.
Harry also revealed he did not “know how much longer my father has” after King Charles was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer.
“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” Harry told the publication, saying he has now “forgiven” his family.
He continued, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”
